Stop struggling! Create your life's vision with ease!
If the Law of Attraction is real, then why are there so many people struggling to achieve their goals?
If you’ve read The Secret or one of the other popular books on the Law of Attraction, you’ve probably heard about the importance of positive thinking, visualization, and goal setting. But did you ever wonder: “What do I actually DO with these tools?”
This no-nonsense guide to manifesting explores the path to fulfill your dreams by taking a step-by-step approach.
Ask for what you want and then be prepared to get it. – Maya Angelou Click To TweetManifest your dreams step 1: Define what you want in life
Go deep and take personal inventory about what you want and why you want it. Write your list and narrow it down to everything that really matters to you.
Once your list is complete, review it and highlight your most important goal. For example, if I want to be a successful, well-known author, and this is my main goal then I would highlight this.
Manifest your dreams step 2: Get specific
A lot of goals are ambiguous. That’s why they don’t work. Simply declaring you want to “get fit” or “have money” isn’t enough. There is no clear direction toward those goals – instead, they could go any which way.
Rather than declaring a vague goal, get hyper-specific. If you want to get fit, then define what fitness means to you.
For example, “I want to be able to run 5 miles every day without issue. I want to have healthy digestion and use food as medicine rather than as a coping mechanism. I want to lose 20 pounds so I feel healthier and more energized in my daily life. Fitness matters to me because ultimately if I take care of my body, I know I am taking care of my life.”
See the difference between being specific and simply stating, “I want to get fit”?
Words are powerful, use them to your advantage here.

Manifest your dreams step 3: Create a plan-of-action
Next, you want to create a plan-of-action for yourself. The Universe responds most favorably to people who take action and move in the direction of their goals. After all, if your goal is to get fit but you spend your time sitting on the couch eating potato chips and fast food all day, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out you aren’t going to reach your goal.
Here’s a step-by-step article that will teach you how to create a plan-of-action. In essence, what you want to do is break your goal down into small simple steps and then hold yourself accountable.
Using the example from above, if your dream is to be fit then your plan-of-action might look something like this:
- Throw away all junk food in house
- Pack a healthy lunch for work and don’t take card/money to work (this will help you avoid tempting foods)
- Delete tempting food subscription services and saved payment information (such as GrubHub, Uber Eats, Seamless)
- Stretch for 10 minutes each morning
- Start day with 8 ounce glass of water to clear toxins from body and aid in healthy digestion
- Walk for 20 minutes every day after lunch
- Join a group fitness class and commit to taking the class 3 times a week
- Learn how to use food as medicine, and curate a meal plan best suited for your body type as opposed to a fad diet
As you can see, these steps are hyperspecific. Some of them will be ongoing (such as drinking water each morning) while others are a one-time assignment (such as throwing away the junk food in your house).
You can take this approach with any dream you have — be it financial, familial, relationship, and so forth.
By putting your best foot forward, and actioning your dreams, you step aside for the Universe to offer its magic. For example, perhaps you also want to manifest your soulmate, and you end up meeting this person at the gym after you make a personal commitment to getting fit and healthy. That’s how the Universe works — it’s magical, and it’s at your service once you open the door.
Manifest your dreams step 4: Hold yourself accountable
Accountability is key, yo. Without it, it’s hard to stick to goals because there’s no pressure to follow through. As such, find a way to hold yourself accountable.
You can find an accountability partner or proclaim your goals publicly on social media and post regular updates with your progress on the same day each week.
Choose whatever method feels the best to you, and then follow through with it.
Manifest your dreams step 5: Regularly visualize your goals
Change is an inward process before it happens outwardly. As such, you may feel like things aren’t happening fast enough. I assure you they are… but in order to stay on track, make sure you regularly visualize your goals coming to fruition.
Allow yourself to mentally rehearse for the future you want by spending five minutes each day visualizing your life with the dreams you want already attained.
This will help you stay on track, and keep you feeling motivated when you aren’t seeing outward progress.
Use these 5 steps to help you manifest your dreams starting today.
